Sri Lanka Navy Donates Outboard Motor Engine Cut Model to Ocean University Regional Center – Galle

Sri Lanka Navy has gifted an outboard motor engine cut model to the Ocean University Regional Center in Galle on 4^th of March 2025 for enhancing hands-on learning opportunities for students. This valuable addition will support practical sessions, enriching their technical knowledge and skills.

This initiative highlights the collaborative efforts of the Sri Lanka Navy in advancing education in the  maritime and technical fields. The official handover ceremony was attended by the Rear Admiral P.K. Warnakulasooriya, RSP*, USP,ndc,psc,Bsc(DS) -Commander Southern Naval Area, Commodore (E) H.K.A. Amaranath – Commodore Superintendent  Dockyard (S) and other naval officers. Representing the Ocean University, Assistant Director Mrs. Shanali Samarasekara, College Lecturer Mr. Sujith Weerasinghe, and students of the Regional Center – Galle were present at the event.

The Ocean University extends its gratitude to the Sri Lanka Navy for this generous contribution, which will greatly benefit students pursuing maritime and technical education.
