The Memorandum of Understanding signing for providing technical support to capacity enhancement of Human Resources of the Ocean University of Sri Lanka

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of providing technical assistance to capacity enhancement of the Ocean University of Sri Lanka (OCUSL) between the Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU) was signed on 18^th August 2021 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. 

Under the prevailing COVID situation, only Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Director International Affairs of the University were present at the event. The proposed cooperation for a phase-I of the project starts in 2021 and will be ended in 2026 (5 years). Under the proposed Memorandum of Understanding both institutions will encourage and develop the following collaborative activities in academic areas on a basis of reciprocity;

1. Exchange of faculty, researchers and administrative staff
2. Exchange of students
3. Academic cooperation on collaborative research, lectures and conferences in areas of common interests
4. Exchange of academic information and materials in the field of mutual interest
