Twelve students of Ocean University of Sri Lanka were awarded scholarships for fall semester studies in 2022 in the Republic of Korea. Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding between Korea Maritime and Ocean University and Ocean University of Sri Lanka received this rare and valuable opportunity. The scholarship awarding ceremony was held on hybrid mode (in person/via zoom) with the participation of Prof. Doh Dhok Hee, the President of Korea Maritime and Ocean University, Prof. Sung-Young Lim, Dean (International Relations), Prof. Wasantha Rathnayake, Vice Chancellor of Ocean University of Sri Lanka and all other academic and non-academic members of Ocean University of Sri Lanka.
