The proposed IEMIS is a collection of systems to manage its courses, students, library, human resource, documents with essential functionalities to link all academic and administrative activities.

This development was funded by the World Bank project, Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD), an operation of Sri Lankan Government to support the higher education sector.

A contract was signed in-between the Ocean University of Sri Lanka and AR Project Management Services (Pvt) Ltd. on the 29 September 2021 to implement a fully-fledged “Integrated Education Management Information System” by strengthening its digital content and online platforms through a Learning Management System (LMS).
