The Ocean University of Sri Lanka launched the National Diploma in Maritime Logistics and Management- NVQ Level 05 as the first ‘Open and Distance Learning Programme’ of Ocean University of Sri Lanka on 7th August 2022, and the inaugural Ceremony was held virtually, under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Professor Wasantha Rathnayake with the participation of Director of Vocational Training Mr. Upul Perera and Assistant Director Ms. Renuka Mathangaweera.
This course targets the employed candidates in the field of Maritime Logistics management or any individual who wish to earn a qualification in the maritime and logistics fields. This is an online part-time basis course approved by the Tertiary Vocational Commission of Sri Lanka. The course duration will be approximately one and a half years with an industrial component.
