The Marine Biotechnology Division of the Ocean University of Sri Lanka is dedicated to exploring the vast biological potential of the ocean and advancing scientific innovation for sustainable development. Our curriculum integrates molecular biology, microbiology, aquaculture technology, bio-product development, marine natural products, genetic engineering, and environmental biotechnology, offering students a strong foundation in both theory and hands-on laboratory practice.
