Course Aim and Intended Learning Outcomes:
The BSc (Hons) in Marine Biotechnology is a specialized undergraduate program designed to
provide students with interdisciplinary knowledge, technical skills, and innovative approaches to
explore, utilize, and conserve marine resources. This program focuses on fostering advancements
in biotechnology for sustainable development and addressing global challenges.
Upon successful completion of the degree program, students will be able to demonstrate
professional and technical competencies in the field of marine biotechnology, particularly in areas
such as drug discovery, biofuels, aquaculture, and bioplastics. The program emphasizes hands-on
