Introduction

The Academic Session aims to foster a strong research culture within the Ocean University of Sri Lanka by encouraging research and development activities among its staff and students. To support this objective, the Organizing Committee invites the submission of Abstracts and Extended Abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
Submissions are limited to Academic, Academic Supportive, Administrative, and Non-Academic staff, as well as students of the Ocean University of Sri Lanka.

The OCUSL Symposium is an annual academic and professional gathering organized by the Ocean University of Sri Lanka, dedicated to showcasing innovative research, emerging knowledge, and impactful contributions across the fields of marine science, maritime studies, fisheries, ocean engineering, and related disciplines.
